Find the Difference: How to Play and Tips

Find the difference puzzles show two almost identical pictures. Your job: find every change before the time runs out. Here is how detectives do it.

  1. Look at both pictures. Start at the top left of the first picture and compare it with the same spot in the second one.
  2. Scan in strips. Move your eyes in horizontal bands: sky, middle, ground. Most differences hide in busy areas and at the edges.
  3. Check colours, shapes and missing things. Differences are a changed colour, a missing or extra object, a flipped detail or a different number of items.
  4. Tap the difference. In the game, tap the spot in either picture. A wrong tap costs time, so be sure first.
  5. Use a hint if you are stuck. The magnifier shows where one difference is. You get 3 free hints a day.
