Gotcha Cat (playgotchacat.com) is a free game run by VS Nettipalvelu, Iso-Roobertinkatu 20-22 A 82, 00120 Helsinki, Finland. By playing you agree to these terms.

The game

The game is free to play. Coins and shop items are part of the game only: they cannot be sold or exchanged and have no value outside the game. Optional coin packs are described below.
Accounts are for players aged 16 and over. Everyone can play without an account.
Please don’t try to cheat the tournament (scripts, automated taps, several accounts); we may remove results or accounts that do.
We may change, pause or end features (including tournaments and prizes in coins) at any time.

Detective names

You choose your detective name. It is shown to other players in tournaments and Top players, so it must not insult anyone, include links or contact details, or pretend to be Gotcha Cat or its staff. We may reset a name that breaks this rule.

Coins and coin packs

Coins are a game currency. You earn them by playing, and players with an account (16 and over) can also buy coin packs. Payments are processed by Stripe. Coins can only be spent in the game on helpers and looks for Gotcha; they have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money and cannot be transferred to another player.

Bought coins are added to your account right after the payment. By paying you ask us to deliver them immediately and you acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once they are delivered. If a payment went wrong (for example you were charged but received no coins), write to support@playgotchacat.com and we will fix it or refund you. Prices include VAT where it applies.

Content

Pictures, the Gotcha Cat character, texts and videos belong to VS Nettipalvelu. You may share links, screenshots and your results; please don’t copy the pictures to other games or sites.

Liability

The game is provided as it is. We are not liable for lost progress (for example after clearing browser data) or for interruptions, to the extent the law allows. Finnish law applies.
